When we're stressed, fear is a huge formidable force until we shrink it down to size through writing it all down. It helps us validate our pain because we have a place to express it fully. And organizing our thoughts is helpful so we don't feel overwhelmed by our circumstances, taking it one moment at a time.

You take a word or phrase and write it on the page and put a circle around it. Then you write any word or phrase that comes to mind with no editing or questioning it. This process can help you see elements that you may not realize are there in association with that word and can give you deeper insight into what you are seeking after.
